I installed Gimp on my computer and explored some of its photo editing capabilities.  After watching a YouTube video, I imported the photo from the course Moodle site, and cut and cropped the photo so that only the faces remained.  I resized some of them and moved them together.  This would make a good thumbnail of the picture.
